Mr. Azim Uddin Ahmed was the only nominated candidate for the position of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NSU Trust and his nomination was found valid. Since he did not withdraw as per scheduled time on 13 June 2016, the NSU Trust Election Commission-2016, constituted by the 60^th meeting of the Board of Trustees, held on 05 May 2016, declared him as the valid final candidate for the position of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NSU Trust for the year 2016-17. Since there was no necessity of holding any election, scheduled on 18 June 2016, for the said position, the Commission, on 13 June 2016, declared Mr. Azim Uddin Ahmed as the elected uncontested Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NSU Trust for the year 2016-17 and conveyed the same to the Chairman, Board of Trustees on the same day.
