On the occasion of Independence & National Day-2014 NSU took two day long program.
On the first day, 25th March, a discussion & cultural program was organized in the open air theater of NSU.
Prof. Amin Sarkar, Vice Chancellor, NSU attended the program as the chief guest where Prof. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Pro Vice Chancellor chaired the discussion session. Renowned media personnel Ms. Shomi Kaiser, daughter of great freedom fighter Sohidullah Kaiser was present as the special guest. Among others Dr. Hasan Mahmud, NSU faculty & Freedom Fighter and Dr. M. Emdadul Haq, NSU Club Coordinator delivered speeches.
In the second day, the students were divided into two teams. One team placed floral wreath at the National Monument in Savar to pay homage to martyrs. Other team joined with million peoples in the National Parade Ground and sang the national anthem together to make world record.
