Adila Majeed is an Assistant Professor in the Departemnt of Political Science and Sociology at North South University. She holds a Ph.d. in Political Science from Aligarh Muslim University. Her research focused on Women Empowerment in India: A comparartive study of Muslim Personal Laws and Constitutional Laws. Her core interests inculde gender studies, Islamic laws, and the rights of Muslim women. Her range of work spans subjects such as the oppression of women, Islamic rights of women and issues in Muslim societies. She aims to foster critical thinking and nuanced understanding of political dynamics among the students. She has over three years of experience teaching Political science to undergraduates at various colleges in Kashmir.
