About

Mr. Ishtiak Abdullah is a Barrister-at-law (Lincoln’s Inn) and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

Mr. Abdullah is an experienced corporate lawyer and well known for advising to some of the major Multinational Companies, INGO’s, Infrastructure Projects and Foreign Missions in Bangladesh. He worked as a Senior Associate at Legal Counsel Bangladesh, a top tier corporate law firm in Bangladesh for five years. His expertise and interest lies in field of Corporate Governance, FDI,
ADR, Contract Management, Family Law and Employment Law.

Before joining to North South University Mr. Abdullah was a faculty member for the University of London International Programme (at affiliate centre). Mr. Abdullah obtained Masters’ in Criminology from University of Dhaka and have contributed in multiple research works for Anti-Terrorism Policies and still contributes in different legal topics in the popular local newspapers in
Dhaka.
