About

I am a Lecturer in the Department of English and Modern Languages at North South University. I hold BA and MA degrees in English from BRAC University, where I graduated with highest distinction both times. I also have an MSc from the University of Edinburgh on the subject English Literature: Literature and Society: Enlightenment, Romantic and Victorian.
My teaching interests include literature, literary theory, academic writing, and public speaking. My research focuses on contemporary literature and digital culture, particularly the ways emotions, identity, and reader engagement are shaped in online spaces. I am especially interested in poetry, fairy tales, and digital narrative studies.
Beyond academia, I enjoy creative writing and have contributed book reviews and poetry to various publications.

Selected Publications

My article titled "The Power of the Unfinished and Unresolved in Taylor Swift's Folklore and Evermore and the Poems of Emily Dickinson" was published in Panini, Volume 11.
