Shaila Joarder is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, North South University. She Joined as a full time time Faculty in 2009. Prior to Joining NSU, she served as full time faculty at the University of Asia Pacific from 1998-2009 and as Graduate Teaching assistant at the Faculty of Built Environment at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia.
In addition to her academic duties she has served as Elected Executive Council Member of the Institute of Architects for three different sessions and has organized several events for development of the profession. SHe take profound interest in designing buildings.
