Dr. Shaouki Munir is a dedicated academician with over four years of experience in research and teaching. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, and a Master of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), along with an MBBS degree from Bangladesh Medical College.
At North South University, Dr. Munir is involved in course design, lecture planning, research, and mentoring students. Her expertise spans foundations of public health, epidemiology, health leadership, and health promotion. She has contributed to several research projects and publications, focusing on healthcare quality assurance, public health challenges, and chronic disease prevention.
Dr. Munir has also gained professional experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs, working with organizations like Smith & Nephew and Complementary Medicines Group in Australia. She is proficient in tools like SPSS, Stata, and Minitab, complementing her strong academic and research background.
Dr. Munir is passionate about cultural and extracurricular activities alongside her academic career. She is an accomplished classical singer who has represented Bangladesh internationally and has also presented at the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) in Turkey and USA while studying medicine.
Additionally, she enjoys cooking traditional Bangladeshi cuisine and traveling, embracing diverse cultures and experiences. Beyond her academic and professional engagements, Dr. Munir is actively involved in volunteer activities, including organizing blood donation events and presenting at UNICEF workshops.
