 Curriculum Vitae

Md. Khayrul Hasan joined the Department of Environmental Science and Management (ESM) at North South University as a full-time Lecturer in November 2024. His academic and research interests lie primarily in molecular biology, particularly within the context of conservation biology.

He holds a master’s degree in Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems (TROPIMUNDO), funded by the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, which he completed in 2024. Prior to his appointment at NSU, Mr. Hasan was actively engaged in several conservation and environmental management initiatives, including projects under the World Bank, in collaboration with the Forest Department and SUFAL (Sustainable Forests & Livelihood).

Mr. Hasan completed his undergraduate studies in Zoology from Jahangirnagar University, where he was awarded the General Merit Scholarship for outstanding academic performance in the B.S. (Hons) program.
