CAREER SUMMARY

Md. Shah Newaz is a senior lecturer in the Department of Marketing and International Business at the School of Business & Economics, North South University. He holds an MBA from the University of Malaya and a BBA from the University of Dhaka.

Shah Newaz brings a wealth of experience from both academia and industry, having worked with various national and international institutions. He has made significant contributions to numerous international and local projects, serving as a business consultant at LightCastle Partners and gaining corporate marketing, operations, and supply chain management experience with renowned firms like G-star RAW, SEARS-KMART, Morimoto Mfg Corp., and VibeMac Spa.

As an early career researcher with a growing publication record, Shah Newaz has published in esteemed international journals ranked by ABDC and ABS, and indexed in Scopus. He has presented his research findings at several international conferences (POMS, IPSERA, EDSI etc.) and actively contributes to the scholarly community as a regular reviewer for prestigious journals, including Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Frontiers in Psychology, and Foresight.

His research interests include sustainable consumer behavior, SDG 12, intertemporal choice, technology diffusion, operations management, e-waste management, and waste management.
