Model-order Reduction (MOR)

The motivation of MOR is detected in the above picture. Nowadays, computer-based simulation is considered the quintessential approach to exploring new ideas in the different disciplines of science and engineering. To perform a simulation, one must convert a physical model into a mathematical one. Computer memory limitations sometimes make The generated systems too large to store. To circumvent these complexities, we need to approximate the higher-dimensional system with a substantially lower-dimensional system. The way to achieve this is to use Model Order Reduction (MOR) techniques.  In recent years, Model Order Reduction (MOR) has become one of the most fascinating research areas in the different Science, Engineering, and Technology branches. The demand for MOR is increasing since modern science and technology heavily rely on simulation-based work.

This area of research focuses on the following topics.

  • Various MOR techniques of Large-scale Sparse Descriptor Systems
  • Computational techniques for solving Matrix Equations (Lyapunov, Sylvesters, and Riccati equation)
  • Modeling and Optimization of LTI Systems
  • MOR of Bi-linear Systems
  • Data-Driven MOR
  • Frequency and Time restricted MOR of Large-scale systems

Deep Learning (DL)

Artificial intelligence (AI) has recently become a fascinating research area due to its applications in different disciplines. Here, the research focuses on the application of AI to Medical Data.  The research aims to collect data, preprocess it,  and develop a Machine Learning (ML) Model to find the abnormality. The research also focuses on creating an AI-based diagnosis technology that detects abnormalities from medical images/data. See the developed technology, DIAGNO-TECH-AI details.

This area of research focuses on the following topics.

  • Data preprocessing
  • Model Efficiency
  • Neural Network Architecture
  • Image Processing and analysis
  • Applications
