Fellowship Program Details:

The SIPG-NSU Fellowship Program is a comprehensive initiative that spans four months and provides participants with a multifaceted learning experience. The program encompasses three fundamental components:

Training on Applied Research Methods:

• Acquire a profound understanding of advanced research methodologies relevant to public policy and governance.
• Develop proficiency in quantitative research methods, study design, and data analysis.
• Build a robust foundation in research techniques and tools.

Hands-on Research Experience:

• Engage actively in every phase of the research process, from survey design to fieldwork and data collection.
• Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of survey instruments.
• Hone practical skills in report and article writing based on research findings.

Mentorship from Experienced Researchers:

• Benefit from the guidance and mentorship offered by senior researchers and experts in the field.
• Receive constructive support and feedback on research projects.
• Enhance your critical thinking and analytical skills through interactions with accomplished mentors.

Opportunities for Fellows (Program Name: 'Future Policy Scholars'):

As a Future Policy Scholar, participants in the SIPG-NSU Fellowship Program will:

• Cultivate expertise in applied research methods with a focus on public policy and governance.
• Gain invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of research, from design to analysis.
• Develop vital research-related management skills.
• Stand eligible for potential future opportunities to join SIPG-NSU as a research assistant.

Qualifications:

Required:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree/final year students (course completed) from a recognized national or international institution.
• Age no more than 30 years
• Interest in and developing skills related to research tools.
• Active engagement with current affairs, economics, and politics.
• A commitment to academic integrity and respect for others.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in both oral and written English communication.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Previous research experience is an advantage.

Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh, with the possibility of field visits. An openness to travel and work in modest yet safe conditions is expected.

Honorarium (monthly): All selected participants will receive a monthly honorarium for their dedication and contributions to the SIPG-NSU Fellowship Program.
