Structure of MPPG
- 18 Months (full-time) in 4 Semesters;
 
- The medium of instruction is English;
 
- 10 courses (8 Compulsory, and 2 Elective)
 
- The last semester is fully dedicated to MPPG thesis writing which equals 9 credits.
 
- Reading materials for each course comprise about 600-650 pages of compendium and textbooks.
 
- Eligible candidates are career civil servants, executives from NGOs, academics, and researchers;
 
Admission for MPPG
- One intake each year;
 
- Students come mostly from Bangladesh, and a few from Nepal, and Sri Lanka
 
- Eligible candidates are career civil servants, executives from NGOs, academics, and researchers;
 
- Fresh graduates can apply only in the self-finance category;
 
- A written admission test is taken on English, Aptitude, and Analytical Skills, (Total of 75 marks);
 
- A viva voce exam (25 marks) is also taken.
 
 
Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree (minimum four years of study) from any recognized university in Bangladesh or abroad;
 
- At least second-class results or CGPA of 2.75 (on a 4-point scale) in all exams;
 
- Any academic background (Arts/Business/Social Science/Science) is eligible;
 
- Foreign degree holders are discouraged from applying.
 
 
Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years’ work experience in civil service, academic and research organizations, NGOs, and bilateral and multilateral donor agencies;
 
- For civil servants, the requirement of work experience can be relaxed.
 
 
Other Requirements
- The maximum age limit is 45 years;
 
- Approval of Deputation/Study Leave/Resignation Letter;
 
- Publications in recognized/peer-reviewed journals can add extra value for admission;
 
- Standard language test results (IELTS/TOEFL/GRE/GMAT) are not mandatory, but standard scores in those tests can add extra value for admission.
 
Requirement for Self-Financed Candidates
- At least a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree;
 
- Tuition and other fees are applicable as per NSU rules.

Admission Requirements 
- Must have a Bachelor's degree (minimum four years of study) from any recognized university in Bangladesh or abroad;
 
- At least second-class results in all exams;
 
- At least CGPA = 2.25 (on a 4-point scale) in any Bachelor program for NSU graduates
 
- At least CGPA = 2.50 (on a 4-point scale) in any Bachelor program for other universities' graduates

Structure Of EMPG 
- Degree awarded by North-South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh;
 
- The medium of instruction is English;
 
- Six core courses and six specialized courses (each of 3 credits)
 
- Three areas of specialization;
 
- Development and submission of a practicum for 3 credits,
 
- A total of 36 credits are required to award the EMPG degree.
 
- Designed as a one-year program (3 Semesters). But it can be completed within 2 years.
 
- A written admission test is taken on English Composition (30 marks) and Aptitude (30 marks)- A total of 60 marks;
 
- A viva voce exam (40 marks) is also taken.
