The Center for Social Impact and Sustainability at North South University (NSU) is a premier policy think tank envisioned as a pioneering hub for policy innovation, research, education, and youth engagement dedicated to addressing the urgent challenges of sustainability, environmental degradation, and climate change in Bangladesh and beyond.
NSU’s Commitment & Strategic Goals
North South University (NSU) is dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting responsible resource management, fostering innovative teaching and learning practices, encouraging impactful research, and building strong national and international partnerships. NSU will take proactive steps including the formation of steering and higher-level committees, comprehensive evaluation of each SDG, development of relevant institutional policies, and conducting awareness campaigns across the NSU community. Additionally, NSU plans to establish a dedicated sustainability office, align each college, program, course, and laboratory center with the relevant SDGs, and implement targeted sustainability initiatives to support the global 2030 agenda.
