Marketing and International Business Club is one of the functional business clubs which is operating under the Department of Marketing & International Business of North South University.
Marketing and International Business Club, operating since July 2nd 2019, is a functional club of North South University and the only student club under the wing of the Department of Marketing and International Business, the largest department of the university. The main goal of MIBC is to provide a diversified platform to its members to flourish their talents and creative skills in the field of marketing and international business and to create a barrier-less environment by marketing various ideas internationally. It also acts as a bridge between the academic and corporate worlds for business students, and aims to provide its members with a base to furnish their talents on and discover their area of expertise. The club is continuously partnering up with various multinational companies and successfully carrying on its activities with the excellent performance of its members. In the upcoming event of the club, various public and private universities will be club partners of MIBC, which eventually will help the club to reach more people. During this global pandemic, MIBC is giving its utmost effort in continuing its streak of successful activities online. The club has arranged various seminars, workshops, events and has continued to conduct multiple OSDPs (Online Skill Development Programs) for the students of North South University. Through various significant club activities, the club also aims to uphold North South University as a prominent business school. The club has organized an intra-NSU interactive grooming session, along with a couple of seminars and workshops. One of the club’s major plans was to hold a nationwide 360-degree marketing competition, “Opsonatus”, which due to the unfortunate spread of COVID-19, had to be postponed till further notice. Despite this setback, the club has managed to successfully carry out a number of programs online, as well as conduct its second recruitment which was completely virtual. Currently, the club is on its way to launch a nationwide digital marketing competition on the same grand scale as Opsonatus, but to be held online, called “MarXcellence”.
