Dr. Mahdy Rahman Chowdhury, Assistant Professor at ECE Department, North South University, has been nominated for the highly prestigious international award, USERN Prize 2019, due to his publications in high impact factor international journals. Previously, he has won the highly prestigious TWAS international research grant in physical science and engineering in 2018.

  USERN prize is annually bestowed on scientists or researchers less than 40 years of age operating in the top 1% of their field and for a significant advancement or achievement in research.
