Curriculum Vitae

 

 

Dr. Samiksha Koirala is an Assistant Professor of Journalism, Media, and Communication at North South University. She holds a PhD in Journalism and Gender from the University of Oslo, Norway (2014–2018). Her work has been published in leading journals and edited volumes on media, gender, and communication. Her research explores gender representation in journalism, media freedom, and women journalists' challenges in politically restrictive environments. Her research interests include AI and journalism, political communication, media and democracy, gendered disinformation, digital harassment of women in public life, and the intersection of media, technology, and gender.
