Sristy Saha is a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science and Management at North South University. Prior to beginning her teaching career, she worked as a research fellow at the National Institute of Biotechnology.
She started her academic journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a Master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She also holds a second Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society (ACES/ACES+), awarded through the highly competitive Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJMD) program, funded by the European Union.
Her research focuses on how environmental parameters impact animal and plant physiology. She employs an interdisciplinary approach that integrates field-based assessments, advanced laboratory techniques, bioinformatics, and quantitative statistical analysis to better understand and address complex environmental challenges
