I am very keen to explore the immeasurable field of glycobiology, biochemistry and molecular biology with major focus on understanding the core mechanisms of the human diseases. I want to utilize my expertise to develop therapeutic approaches to reverse or circumvent pathological processes in human diseases like CDGs associated with protein glycosylation by exploring the biological roles of glycans in different cellular process and their underlying molecular pathways.

Current Project:

1. Extraction and Purification of Microbial Bioactives for Pharmaceutical and Industrial Applications.

2. The Impact of Post-Translational Modifications on the Development and Progression of Human Diseases.

Completed projects (Thesis supervison):

1. APP O-Glycosylation and its impact on Alzheimer's disease.

2. Investigating the relationship between living factors and Parkinson's disease progression.

3. The essential role of Notch O-Glycosylation in cancer.

4. Significance of protein glycosylation in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease.

5. Anti-microbial activity of medicinal plants on Klebsiella pneumoniae.

6. Investigating the role of Post Translational Modifications on the onset of liver diseases
