Taskin is an academic, entrepreneur and finance professional with over 10 years of national & international experience in Consulting, Research, Corporate Finance and Startups. Through these endeavors, he has acquired a global mindset and an analytical framework for both finacnial management and intelligence. His experiences and skill sets have equipped him with the ability to effectively apply strategic and analytical skills to business challenges that ultimately impact the bottom-line, in order to ensure sustainable growth.
As an investment analyst working in the Sustainable Investment Cell of the Central Bank of Bangladesh, he was actively involved in preparing financial feasibility studies and investment analysis for various public-private partnership (PPP) based infrastructural projects (portfolio - $600 million USD; primarily funded by the World Bank). Additionally, he spearheaded the development of several sustainable investment projects targeting the untapped agriculture industries in developing economies (portfolio - $6 million). Furthermore, his work as a research associate in multiple USAID and World Bank projects centered on diaspora engagements and trade competitiveness required him to analyze economic, psychographic and financial data in order to quantify diaspora engagement and its probabilistic transformation towards investment. His last work as a data associate allowed him to analyze big data to manage risks, improve performances, and identify business opportunities.
Taskin is also the co founder of Sentienl Technologies, a software company, dedicated in building innovative and effective Enterprise solutions. Awarded as the most innovative company in 2023, Sentinel is at the forefront of building the digital infrastructure of EV charging in Bangladesh. Sentinel's very own brand - Ekhon Charge has the largest EV charging network in Bangladesh. Taskin's entrepreneurial endeavors also include 2 of the most successful restaurant/cafes in Bangladesh.
