BSRM Seminar on “Environmental and Built Form- A Contemporary Scenario of Bangladesh”

BSRM organized a seminar with the students who will graduate soon and start the professional chapter of their life. This seminar was on “Environmental and Built Form- A Contemporary Scenario of Bangladesh”.  The keynote speakers were Prof. Dr. S. M. Najmul Imam (Architecture Department, BUET) and Engineer Monayem Hossain Shoaib (CEO of Advanced Engineering). Students from Both the Civil Engineering and Architecture Department of 3 different universities (BUET, AUST, and NSU) participated in this seminar.

Prof. Dr. S. M. Najmul Imam discussed about the Fundamentals of Architectural Acoustics, how it can render a structure unusable yet often the most ignored part of many construction projects, and the importance of Civil Engineers and Architects working together.

Engineer Monayem Hossain Shoaib discussed about the practical application of our engineering knowledge and the problems we may face working on the field.

This Seminar was a great opportunity to interact with and learn from professionals working in the field.
