These goals address global challenges such as climate change, inequality, education, health, and economic growth. As of 2025, global progress remains mixed: over 700 million people still live in extreme poverty, while one-third of the world&#8217;s population lacks access to clean water. Meanwhile, renewable energy now accounts for over 30% of global electricity generation, and primary school enrollment exceeds 90% globally.
