SBE is a premier school that is committed to offering a world-class tertiary education in business and economics in Bangladesh. The latest QS World University Rankings by Subject has placed SBE among the top 401 – 450 schools in the subject area of Business and Management Studies, globally! The school is ACBSP accredited and a CABS member.

The school runs flexible, career-oriented and globally-benchmarked MBA and Executive MBA degree programs.

Our faculty members strive to excel in their respective field of specializations. They undertake research independently and/or jointly with national and international scholars; publish in internationally reputed journals; and embed business-related research in their class-room teaching.

The School of Business & Economics also houses three specialist research centers:

• Center for Business Research;
• NSU-UWA Agribusiness Center of Excellence; and
• Economics Research Platform.

SBE also publishes North South Business Review, a biannual peer-reviewed academic journal; and organizes year around a considerable number of research seminars, workshops and conferences.

For students, SBE boosts a range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities involving about 20 student clubs. The school also hosts community outreach programs by engaging industry and community leaders as well as by offering customized certificate courses.

The NSU School of Business & Economics is located across four levels of North Academic Building on NSU’s gorgeous urban campus that is located conveniently in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
