SIPG and UNDP, Bangladesh organized a training program on Trade & Investment Related Negotiation

SIPG-UNDP organized a training program on Trade & Investment Related Negotiation 

A 4-day long training program for the government officials and business leaders on “Enhancing Trade & Investment Related Negotiation Skills for Smooth Transition of Bangladesh from LDC Graduation” was conducted on 18-21 June 2022 at NSU campus. It was jointly organized by the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) of North South University and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bangladesh. The aim of this training program was to enhance the negotiating capacity of civil servants, private sector and business leaders to cope up with the post LDC complexity in trade and investment related issues. It was the fifth training program of this series of Negotiation training.

 

 

The certificate awarding ceremony and closing session of this training program was held on 21 June 2022. Professor Atiqul Islam, Vice Chancellor of NSU was the Chief Guest. 


The representatives from Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture, Prime Minister’s Office, National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission (BTTC), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and NSU participated in this training.
