Paromita Islam is a lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North South University since January 2015.
She completed her masters from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark in 2014. Her masters thesis was based on quality by design manufacturing tecniques of parmaceutical products. Her masters thesis was titled as "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing of Nano-embedded Microparticles via Microfluidics Spray Drying – A QbD (Quality by design)/ Continuous Manufacturing Approach". Before going for her masters Paromita worked at Renata Limited for a year in the GMP and validation department. She also worked at Sanofi (Bangladesh) Ltd as an Oncology Associate. She completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy from the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NSU in 2011, summa cum laude.
