  • Help develop injury related targets, using regression multipliers, for some of SAFE Work's dashboard measures.
  • Help developing the evaluation framework for SAFE Work certification program.
  • Help develop the policy paper on prevention incentive.
  • Prepare SAFE Workers of Tomorrow (SWOT) student survey report, 2015 using SPSS.

2024 Projects:

 Economist and Quantitative Evaluation Expert: Strategic End of the Project Evaluation of Urban Resilience Project (URP), Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

URP aims to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Bangladesh agencies to respond to emergency events and to strengthen systems to reduce the vulnerability of future building construction to disasters in Dhaka and Sylhet.

Other projects that are in the development stage and I am actively working on are related to i) Health and Subjective financial well-being, ii) Religion and intimate partner violence in Bangladesh, and iii) big data application to predict coastal area erosions and early warning applications.

 

Administrative Responsibilities:

1) Director of Student Affairs: Managing all student-related affairs, including management of 23 club activities of North South University.                                                January 2024-December 2024

 

2) Member of the Assessment & Curriculum Planning Committee (ACPC) of the Department of Economics,       August 2022- to date

Responsible for syllabus updates, assisting with paperwork for any academic collaboration with other institutions, and assisting with exit exam preparation.
